How to Set Up a Conference with CSL
The Center for Social Leadership can create and facilitate a unique retreat or conference for your leadership team tailored to the needs of your nonprofit.
With over 30 years of training and facilitation experience, Dr. Anthony Silard, leadership educator and author of Screened In: The Art of Living Free in the Digital Age, has created and taught workshops to cover many facets of nonprofit executive work and life. He has worked with small organizations looking for “nuts and bolts” training such as fundraising, staff development and strategic planning. He has also worked with large established organizations and companies (such as CARE, Save the Children, United Way, Disney, IBM, and Nokia) on deeper issues such as work-life balance, effective communication for managers and leadership style.

Here are the most typical steps to creating a customized conference for your team:

Our team here at The Center for Social Leadership will work with you to pick and choose from over thirty workshops to tailor a conference that meets the specific needs of your nonprofit, your profession, your location and/or your current circumstances. You can select the specific Leadership Workshops you would like and we can put it all together for you.
Option 2
Choose a general theme (e.g. “Communication and Team-Building”) and we can put it all together for you.
Our most popular conferences are two-day events or week-long events. You can choose what is right for your organization.
