What is the Transform schedule?
Transform is October 27 - November 1, 2008(from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and will conclude with a graduation lunch on June 1, 2008 (from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.). Optional activity from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Applicants are advised to review the schedule prior to submitting their applications so they can be prepared to participate in
each session.

To complete your application, please send:
- a $25 non-refundable deposit check or money order payable to The Center for Social Leadership
- a 500 - 1500 word essay in which the applicant will describe his/her interest in the nonprofit sector, and motivation for participating in the ECPNL
- a current resume
- a tuition assistance letter and attachments (if applicable)

When to send it?
The deadline is September 15, 2008. If you send between September 15 and September 24 you will incur a $100 late fee.

What happens if the application is late?
Applications received after the deadline will be reviewed on a space-available basis.
Is there an Admissions Committee?
An Admission Committee will review all applications and will select qualified participants. Application does not guarantee admission.
When will the acceptance notifications be sent?
Admission status notification will be sent via regular mail on a rolling basis, usually within two weeks of the receipt of your application.
Is it possible to defer my offer of admission?
Yes, you can defer your admission to the next available program. However, the tuition is non-refundable.
Are there any additional activities besides the class dates?
Each session offers an optional activity from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., led by a guest presenter; in addition, there will be a number of group social and networking activities that are included in Transform curriculum, and a graduation the end of the program.
What is the tuition?
The tuition is $4,500.00.Payments can be made with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, or checks/money orders made payable to The Center for Social Leadership.
What does the tuition include?
The Transform tuition includes all course fees, books, materials, food and transportation to all social and networking activities.
Is tuition assistance available?
A limited number of scholarships are available, covering up to 55% of tuition. To qualify for tuition assistance consideration, applicants must be a full-time employee of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose budget is under $2m.
Are there tuition discounts?
Yes, there are 2 types of tuition discounts:
- To qualify for a 10% early registration discount,
participants are encouraged to pre-pay their tuition by
August 15, 2008.
- Members of partnering associations such as The Alliance for Nonprofit Management are eligible for a 15% tuition discount. To join this organization go to www.allianceonline.org. When applying as a member of Alliance for Nonprofit Management, please provide the CSL promotion code number.

When is tuition due?
Tuition paid in full is due by October 15, 2008. Applicants are strongly advised to secure a funding commitment prior
to applying.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancellation policies are included in the materials provided to applicants upon admission.
Are there any academic pre-requisites?
There are no formal educational requirements; verbal and written proficiency in English is required.

Do I need to submit my resume?
A current resume or CV should be included with the application.
